The golden swan of Nala and Damayanti, King Nala, wandering in his palace garden, catches a golden swan. The bird pleads for its life and offers a bargain: release me, and I will fly to Princess Damayanti and speak of you so well that she will love no one else. Nala lets it go. The swan finds Damayanti among her companions, lets her catch it, and whispers praise of Nala. She falls in love before she has ever seen him. At her svayamvara, four gods disguise themselves as Nala to win her. Damayanti sees through them because gods cast no shadow and do not blink, and she chooses the true man. "And a woman who held a babe against her bosom said, Speak to us of Children. And he said: Your children are not your children. They are the sons and daughters of Life’s longing for itself. They come through you but not from you, And though they are with you yet they belong not to you. You may give them your love but not your thoughts, For they have their own thoughts. You may house their bodies but not their souls, For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow, which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams. You may strive to be like them, but seek not to make them like you. For life goes not backward nor tarries with yesterday. You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth. The archer sees the mark upon the path of the infinite, and He bends you with His might that His arrows may go swift and far. Let your bending in the archer’s hand be for gladness; For even as He loves the arrow that flies, so He loves also the bow that is stable." ❤️

Om Gam Ganapataye Namah Tomorrow we celebrate the birth of Ganesha - remover of obstacles, lord of new beginnings. His form is dense with symbolism: the large ears that teach us to listen, the broad forehead that makes room for big ideas, the small eyes that ask for concentration, and the single tusk that teaches us to discern what to keep and what to release. His trunk - strong yet flexible - reminds us that adaptability isn't weakness, it's wisdom in motion. At the start of something new - a project, a season, an inner shift - we're often, without knowing it, asking for exactly what Ganesha embodies: the courage to face obstacles, and the steadiness to move through them. Where in your life is asking for his blessing this week? #GaneshChaturthi #Ganesha #GanpatiBappaMorya #VedicAstrology ✨️ #ganeshchaturthi 🪔🙏🪔 We will be offering auspicious texts, ghee lamps and meditating on constructive intentions ~ Sankalpa Feel welcome 🐘 Begijnensteeg 1 (The picture was taken in '23 in Antwerp @baps)

#salamrahayu

"Let us record the atoms as they fall upon the mind in the order in which they fall, let us trace the pattern, however disconnected and incoherent in appearance, which each sight or incident scores upon the consciousness. Let us not take it for granted that life exists more fully in what is commonly thought big than in what is commonly thought small." V. Woolf 1919 When we approach a threshold of change, there's often a clinging to what's familiar, to what's known. But when we look at the true quality of this time, and what it means for our personal lives, by consulting the celestial dance, we find we can work with its momentum through ritual, ceremony, and practice. In doing so, we discover we are both responsible for, and able to respond to, these collective trends. This is so common in amimistic and indigenous civilizations, lets pause, breathe and remember 🙏 Happy Venusday, Happy Kite Basket 🪁🪺 be gentle Keeping grammar errors - its a way to show I'm not a robot 😅 also I sometimes really don't notice until much later. 😆 amimistic = animistic 🙏 #kites #venusneptune #celestials #astrology #tropicalzodiac Apollo with the Nine Muzes on Parnassus

👆Yod👈 part 2 🙏🌈🍕 When describing complex and intrinsic astrological patterns like a Yod for example, there is no one way. Yesterdays post points out the friction usually felt through this. A great and unique part of a Yod constellation is its primordial need to follow ones own path. Directing ones life into an unpaved journey where - even though no one can lead the way- we come across extraordinary situations, circumstances and events because of the unique direction in life and the primorial pull to seak ones own path. I reffered to "family dynamics" this too needs context. This has a both astronomical and psychological root and enables us to tap into unlived talent of our ancestors. Due to this unlived talent there can be a latent gift for us to pollish this lifetime. Although we do need to find our own way without example. (I will leave grammatical errors if they show up, I'm not a robot 🤗) Reach out to me if this is unclear. #Astrology #PsychologicalAstrology #Yod #familydynamics #zodiac

Reading in the #cgjung room all day @embassyofthefreemind ✨️ Such a precious gift. In response to this mornings reading a small note: This clients chart depicts two 👆 Yod 👈 Yod is a constellation between three astrological points, created by two quincunxes and one sextile on the base connecting them. So there is one point on the apex, and there are two astrological points connected by a sextile. This gives you a pizza-slice form of constellation, and this is a form of family dynamics. It is always referred to as the Finger of God, hence the name, Yod. When you have this in your birth chart, when you are born with a Yod in your birth chart, you will need to follow your own path. You will always have the tendency to feel as if you're pulled in different directions. The three involved astrological points are all in a different element, they are in a different astrological cross, and they're also in a different temperament. This means that the involved astrological points don't understand each other, so the psyche basically needs to work together with these different ways of orienting. That is an achilles heel; on one hand difficult and challenging but at the same time an unpolished gift. The need the search is inherent as the orientation point of the chartpoints involved is completely different. That is why expression through a Yod is always subjected to friction. Usually friction through discomfrot and a certain "pulling" in various (inner) directions. However one could become very stagnant with a Yod, but that is always informed by the participating astrological points. The most important thing is that it requires us to follow our own path, and to also accept that when there are gains, there is always something lost. And that even though things sometimes feel uncertain or unfair, it is important to stay in the moment and ride the waves of life, stay present, and expect the unexpected. Wieehoe haha EINDELIJK RIJPE VIJGEN!

Lunar maps and the wuku system of Java. #eclipses ahead. Embraching the void of momentary darkness. The feelings of discomfort and possible grief emerging. When we see the potential that arises. We come from a place of divine wisdom. Once we quiet the mind we can see that within this mometum lies a promise of deep awakening and growth. To me the bilateral study of astrological systems shows me that where the ancient eastern traditions anchor in a state of oneness beyond logic and reason, the western alchemic tradition is a great transitional tool to emerge from causal understanding to infinate being. The coming eclipse season explained from a #jyotish perspective includes the importance of fixed star constellations called #nakshatra. When we anchor in the celestials we can learn a great deal about our etherical being. Thats why we call this #sidereal. Maybe this is the pathway to the infinate potential state, where math is nothing more than a means to structure and reign the mind and celestial bodies partners in this dance. #ahambrahmasmi

#swargalokah #weddinggift

And a woman spoke, saying, Tell us of Pain. And he said: "Your pain is the breaking of the shell that encloses your understanding. Even as the stone of the fruit must break, that its heart may stand in the sun, so must you know pain. And could you keep your heart in wonder at the daily miracles of your life your pain would not seem less wondrous than your joy; And you would accept the seasons of your heart, even as you have always accepted the seasons that pass over your fields. And you would watch with serenity through the winters of your grief. Much of your pain is self-chosen. It is the bitter potion by which the physician within you heals your sick self. Therefore trust the physician, and drink his remedy in silence and tranquility: For his hand, though heavy and hard, is guided by the tender hand of the Unseen, And the cup he brings, though it burn your lips, has been fashioned of the clay which the Potter has moistened with His own sacred tears" #kahlilgibran #grateful #astrology #tropicalzodiac #tarot
